It's hard for women today to even the odds with men, since they still hold their traditional roles within the home, which makes it even more difficult for them to find time to attend college, and with fewer opportunities to earn money to pay for a degree. More recently, in the past few decades educational scholarships for single women have been created.

One question that is asked a lot is what educational scholarships for single women are available? In fact there are many grants and scholarships for woman of all ages and backgrounds available by private foundations, for women changing careers, returning to school or just beginning.
